A weekend with friends in the Emsland - we were happy again crickets, the campsite with the cute name Haseufer "and some small attractions:

Unfortunately we arrived a day later than planned release, which was trips n adjourned.
We also contacted by phone and by email to anyone reached the campsite, we finally asked our friends (who had already pitched their tents) to book directly with us for on-site.
We learned that it would not be worthwhile. They would also only stayed because there just were no alternatives. If we still come, we should concentrate on chaos, unfriendly waiting room and a "Emsland-Ballermann Set: -Four party groups had just arrived and ieferten a competition in alcoholic destruction, Box entuning and Watt-strength ...
On "gu t happiness" we started yet on the path calculated using the the worst and enjoy the ride just once. Bravely resisted us to temptation, in Rheine a stop at => Fritz Berger Shop (at => TEN motorhomes / salt mountains) to make. Better for our tight budget ... :-)
Haselünne is in the middle of nowhere and exudes a cozy small-town atmosphere, accompanied nicely by the "rabbit", which flows through the town. On arrival at the campsite but we received the complete opposite - an atmosphere like at a rock festival ... crisscross Asked trailers and tents on the lawn clogged lake, so we hardly found a passage.
Unfortunately we have no picture, that the first impression could really play, but the arrival was creepy. We later found out that back further yet been sufficient space would be - only a lot of rough for our old camper. The opposite shore was indeed free, we were warned however, that right there in the evening, the fetuses were taking place - far away from their own tents of the party people ...
So we looked for a place to our friends. The operators themselves had apparently lost track. The reception was collected without a word, although the location number, we've chosen on the basis of marker signs on their "plan" did not exist. No matter - hefty 21 euros a night. Figures ready for lunch.
We were annoyed us much, because it seems nobody is really interested in whether and where we stood. A lot of money for an unkempt "parking lot" somewhere on a bumpy lawn, an overgrown with nettles electrical box, a little confidence-inspiring water source for the noise level and the toilets, which were worse than any motorway service station.
Certainly, it is a natural place. But that is no excuse for "we do nothing here." On the website but is an indication that this area had only a sanitary container - not an issue when this was not a reasonably clean and open garbage dumping ground would be. Even the great Shower / wash-house, allegedly completed only recently made, on closer inspection, no hygienic impression.
Too bad - because of the beautiful lakeside location, it could be a nice little campsite, if not all, from the lawn to the play equipment would be in a miserable state.
who - as we do with the camper - is relatively independent, can be found for one, maybe even two nights a great location. However, with many restrictions:

# 1 Only in good weather
There is no good water drainage. If you "might sink" any assistance from the operator is not available or only after long discussions - as our friends happened two days earlier.
# 2 waiver of any service and comfort
catch one place on the lake and otherwise has "nothing to do with anything," does not require any service. No sanitary facilities or anything else - THEN it may be here scenic. For but it is too expensive.
# 3 Outside the holiday season - or even as part of a party-course
It may be that we were just at the wrong time there. But we really had the impression that the place wants to make a "party zone" a name. In the evening anyway gegröhlt and celebrated, there was no tomorrow. Especially our immediate neighbors with "Highway to Hell" atmosphere made up to the tympanic membrane strain. So we took the utmost and counterclaims were singing loudly. It did ... :-)
A positive exception in all the chaos was calculated the largest group of place. They celebrated extensively, but no one harassed and shone with an excellent organization. They had no less fun than the other - it is therefore also different.
# 4 Children program with obstacles
Certainly the place at first glance to offer much for children - is on closer inspection, but everything out very quickly as a cheap, unloving and unkempt.
8-14 year old who can do something with themselves, will find sufficient employment for a long weekend, alone by the lake. From 14 they are always difficult, it should begin to other thoughts :-) Young children should not be more silent, to the playground equipment and other assets look too dangerous.
There is a playground, which was closed during our visit, however. The fence certainly some impressive equipment could be seen, but which were in a sorry state. And a "fairground" at the entrance to see on which a big old carousel, a miniature golf course and various other stations. It seems very "thrown" and we could not find that the offered "child care" would be really present.
All we saw was a "guarded" TV room behind the reception stand, to being thrown out with an unfriendly lunch. And behind the "computer room" (for rainy days), a barren crate buried with old game consoles, but without a computer. That is not tragic and completely uninteresting, it would not be an illusion that one wakes just as angry as the arg "edited" website and the colorful glossy brochure, with expectations that are not easily observed.

Summary
The whole plant gives an impression as if the best days already behind him, and now she desperately tries to keep up with the "modern era".
The operators seem only interested in short-term profit to be - a behavior that can be difficult to see when you know you like Camper "tick" and talk to each other. Place neighbors and friends said that they used to come back always thrilled to be left out in the future, however.
Haselünne is now really not a tourist center. So it alienated its regular guests, and "return" and just leave the party people and through traffic - there is none. One can estimate that this will not go long good. Pity about the scenic spot. Who has the interest and the money to restore an expandable campsite should have an eye on it. It might be worth it.
Nevertheless we had with our friends a nice weekend - but that was because of the company and the pretty little lake, not on any of the service "(non-) Comfort Camping Haseufer.
After a very early date in the MHH Hannover, we took the trip to a little trip to the Steinhude. Shortly after departure from the A2 project in the middle of the flat landscape of the sand hills of gravel Wunstorfer work up - like the Ayers Rock in Australia. 
held in Steinhude itself, we then only for a photo, because even though it was a normal Monday, it was swarming with tourists who enjoyed the beautiful weather at the beach promenade. That was us too much company, so we drove on to the next town and were steered "toward any water".
