travelogue Hannover / Steinhude (14 July 2008) On the road again
After a very early date in the MHH Hannover, we took the trip to a little trip to the Steinhude. Shortly after departure from the A2 project in the middle of the flat landscape of the sand hills of gravel Wunstorfer work up - like the Ayers Rock in Australia.
We had the internet read by the "motor home port" in Steinhude, which is really very close to the beach terraces, but otherwise just a great and (as we are) not even particularly nice "nature park" is - who is also very was full.
held in Steinhude itself, we then only for a photo, because even though it was a normal Monday, it was swarming with tourists who enjoyed the beautiful weather at the beach promenade. That was us too much company, so we drove on to the next town and were steered "toward any water".
We came by chance in the very, very beautiful and very quiet moorland walking country in Hagenburg. Right next to the Hagenburger boulder garden there is a sufficiently large, camper parking permitted in the countryside, where we are taking a break. If you drive straight ahead just finally, you come to a nice, quiet area of the Steinhuder Sea. For a small weekend getaway at any time ideal.
About Stadthagen direction Herford it was back then. In Stadthagen we wanted to eat lunch - but there is apparently just for lunch all in deep sleep, it is not even a snack.
On the main road we saw some places again and found that we were driven here by the beginning of our Holland tour already: when we picked up our "Potti" (the Mobilklo in Womo) in Kirchdorf / helps.
When we finally found at least a kind of kebab, this was just on the other side. Reversing unfortunately we ran into a side street so steep that we ruined the clutch. This made the but only on the A2 felt: suddenly no response was to switch everything and so we had to 20 km / h down on the hard shoulder in Oyenhausen. A little confused, we turned it also operates in the direction Oyenhausen (instead of Herford) from, and the mountain there was the coupling of the rest, we were rolling but after an adventurous maneuvers before a remote mare's milk - farm (no kidding ...) up the mountain down to a good stopping point - but there was then concluded. Not two hours later, then came at last, the ADAC and dragged us home.
Although the trip was an adventure and has not really worth it, maybe we go yet again to Hagenburger boulder garden and the "Steinhude in Flames" - but then determined not directly by Steinhude, but somehow on the opposite side of the Steinhuder Sea.
