I bring today unaware of the roof garden the rest of Christmas. Suddenly I erscheckt deafening whistle and a thick, white smoke rushes by on the tracks behind the house to another world: an original steam locomotive with cars from the thirties. I trust my eyes - as my model train would be resurrected. Madness. Later I learn there is a Santa rides the Teutoburg Forest Railway. Where today only the occasional freight trains back and forth chatter, previously was a regular passenger service, a steam engine association takes care with loving nostalgia trips about not forgotten to leave. also seems right in Melle what appeared to be going on, especially in the town hall . Unfortunately Meller is still a bit behind Borgholzhausen, just before Osnabrück.
